Foster Care Families

Children living with Foster Families by themselves or with their sibling(s). The needs will vary per family, however, every donation helps better support and encourage each foster family and child.

Rivera Family

We are a foster family in nampa and have two biological boys ages 10&8. We have been fostering for 6 years and foster children ages 0-18+ . Currently, we have 5 foster daughters ages 14,14,16,16, and 2 and one foster son aged 2. We love being active as a family playing laser tag, going roller blading and bowling and love spending time outside hiking and at rivers and lakes.

Davis Family

I’m a single mom since 2019.  I’ve taught kindergarten and first grade for 28 years in public education. I obviously love kids. My greatest need is emergency childcare when the kids are sick or even just running a low grade fever due to teething or common colds I have to leave work and then take the following day off as they can’t return for 24 hours. As a teacher that has me torn away from my students at a moments notice .  If I had somewhere to take them it would alleviate a lot of stress. I realize that might not be possible ? Even just a babysitter for a few hours on the weekends so I could grocery shop would be amazing! Other needs we have are: Tricycle, Pull ups 4T, Girls swimsuit 4/5, Pool toys, Diapers size 4, Wipes, Baby food or squeezable pouches. The foster kids we have are 5, 3, and 1 years of age and were 4, 3, and 9 months when they were placed with me. My biological children are 22, 20,16.

Dritenbas Family

We moved from Boise to Caldwell last year so we could buy a bigger house and accommodate extra kids. The house is over 100 years old, so we have been doing lots of work on the interior. New wiring, foundation, chimney, framing in a new room. Not very exciting projects. Our backyard has been completely neglected. It’s a big dirt pad at this point. Anything to improve the play out back would be greatly appreciated, especially with this warm weather.

Moore Family

Jason and Sarah Moore have lived in the Treasure Valley for 3 years with their daughter Charley, who was adopted at birth. They previously lived in Washington state where they were also licensed foster care providers. Their desire is to love the Lord and show his loving kindness to others through foster care.

Wurst Family

We are a foster family in Nampa. We have 10 kids; half of them are adults. The ones at home still are ages 17, 16, 15, 12 and 12. We have been raising foster and adopted kids for about 15 years. We have taken in all ages. At the time I am writing this we have one foster boy age 12, so we have 3 twelve year olds right now. So much fun! We love to hike, camp, and play in water. Our kids are very active and enjoy sports Soccer being the most popular. We have one who loves music. She plays the trombone and is learning to play the piano. Our house always has something going on, full of energy, and love.
